The Quadrangle Theater was to have served as the anchor tenant for an entertainment oriented retail center in Richmond/Rosenberg. The bold shapes and primary colors were designed to draw customers to the back of the site where the theater was located. The ceiling of the space was “punctured” by bold geometric shapes, a cube, cone and cylinder in primary colors lit with a pendant mounted fixture shining up into the shapes. Both the retail center and the theater building were built, but sadly, the theater was a victim of the recession of the mid 80's and never opened. |
